Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of machining processes and be proficient in operating various machinery. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with precision tools to produce high-quality components. The Machinist will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and specifications, ensuring that all parts meet stringent quality standards.

Duties

• Operate CNC machines and manual lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Utilize power tools and equipment for machining tasks, including milling machines and drill presses.
• Perform CAM programming for CNC operations, ensuring optimal machine performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Conduct quality checks using bore gauges and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy of finished products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and familiarity with Fanuc and Prototrak controls is preferred.
• Strong skills in CAD software for designing parts and components.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
