Medical Billing Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Medical Billing Specialist for our healthcare client located in Federal Way. This will be a contract opportunity and a full-time, 100% onsite opportunity. 

This role will be focused on the backend of the billing cycle and assist with our client's backlog of AR. Interested candidates must be knowledgable of managed care plans and all insurance companies and have in depth experience with AR including posting payments, analyzing and modifying denials, appeals and grievances, and recoups and refunds. 

Requirements 

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years full cycle medical billing experience 
• Must be proficient working within multiple software systems including EMR systems 
• Bilingual English/Spanish desired, not required

Skills 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially over the phone 
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to work well independently and meet production metrics as outlined by management
• Extensive knowledge of ICD 9/10, HCPCS, CPT Codes and all insurance carriers 
• Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines 

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
