You will work closely with our content team to develop compelling news segments that resonate with our audience and uphold our commitment to journalistic integrity. Responsibilities • Present news stories with clarity, professionalism, and objectivity, while adhering to our editorial standards.• Conduct interviews with newsmakers, experts, and analysts to provide insightful analysis on current events.• Collaborate with producers, editors, and other team members and Salem units to research and develop news segments that align with our editorial vision.• Stay informed about current events, political developments, and cultural trends to provide timely and relevant reporting to our audience.• Engage with viewers through social media platforms and other digital channels to enhance audience interaction and feedback. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required • Proven experience as a news anchor or reporter, preferably in a television environment.• Strong on-camera presence along with excellent writing and communication skills.• Deep understanding of national and world events.• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced news environment.• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.• Familiarity with broadcast equipment, editing and production techniques is a plus.
