Qualifications:
?Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
?Licensure: Indiana Pharmacy Technician registration and certification.
?Experience: Prior hospital or pharmacy experience (preferred).
?Technical Skills: Medication preparation, inventory management, and prescription processing; Familiarity with electronic adjudication of prescription claims; Proficiency in pharmacy audits and controlled substance record-keeping.
?Soft Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills; Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
?Prepare and order medications per physician orders and nursing requests.
?Verify prescription accuracy and maintain secure storage of pharmaceuticals.
?Deliver and restock medications to nursing units, ensuring proper security.
?Manage inventory, including procurement, inspections, and invoice processing.
?Assist with pharmacy audits and maintain controlled substance records.
?Provide exceptional customer service to patients, staff, and providers.
?Support pharmacists with administrative tasks and regulatory compliance.
