About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead infrastructure operations and services across North and South America.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure alignment between local and enterprise-wide infrastructure initiatives.
• Manage a geographically dispersed IT team, fostering strong motivation, accountability, and collaboration.
• Oversee infrastructure-related projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business requirements.
• Act as a key liaison with business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure satisfaction with IT services.
• Drive continual service improvement efforts and optimize existing technologies and processes.
• Provide high-level support and ensure stable operations across all infrastructure environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in an IT infrastructure management role within a multi-location organization.
• Deep technical understanding of infrastructure technologies, including networking, storage, compute, virtualization, and cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Proven project management experience across diverse infrastructure initiatives.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage IT staff and service delivery in a distributed environment.
• Sound decision-making abilities and the capability to resolve complex problems in high-pressure scenarios.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Experience with the following technologies would be advantageous:
• VMware (ESX, NSX, Tanzu)
• Pure Storage, Cisco UCS, Nutanix hyper-converged systems
• Microsoft and Linux server environments
• Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive)
• SCCM, NexThink
• DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policies (GPOs), SCOM, Nagios
• Endpoint protection and host intrusion prevention systems
• ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or similar)
• Project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet)

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in a commodity
