Chubb's White Plains House Counsel firm, Varvaro, Cotter, Bender & Walthall, is seeking a Paralegal. The position is a 4/1 role, requiring in-office work 4 days per week. Job Description: Assist attorneys in trial preparation Assist in preparing records on appeal Communicate professionally and promptly with clients, claims representatives, opposing counsel, experts, vendors, and courts Prepare discovery demands and responses Gather and organize medical records and discovery documents Coordinate independent medical examinations Assist in preparing motions, pleadings, and subpoenas Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have at least five years of litigation experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, with a solid understanding of New York personal injury litigation. Additionally, the candidate should possess: Strong communication skills Proficiency with email, Word, and case management platforms Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team The salary range is $59,000 to $93,500, depending on experience and qualifications.
